2 Godmothers?

So...I have two very close female friends that have been nothing short of reliable, loyal and truly good friends to me. I haven't been able to decide which one of them should be my daughter's godmother, so my question is if it's odd or inappropriate to have two godmother?

My children will have two “godmothers,” but nether my husband nor I are religious, hence the quotations. If you are religious, most institutions will not allow it bc they’re homophobic.

In christian religion you can’t have 2 people of the same sex :( look into it with your church.. i found that out the other day after wanting to have 2 godmothers for our baby.

I was raised catholic but since they don't allow same sex couples to be god parents my baby will be baptized in a unitarian church which is still part of the christian religion
