Birth control? Please no judging

I really need to be back on birth control since I just had a pregnancy scare not too long ago. Ive been off it for about two years and last year I had my daughter, I just never went back to the gynecologist to get any after having her.

I've been on only the pill so far and I didn't really take it like I should have but I'm not sure what to get. I'm terrified of syringes so the shot is out of the question. I've been offered the IUD after birth but I've been hearing more negative than positive lately, and the same goes with the arm implant. What have you ladies used, what were your experiences? I am open to suggestions, just again no shot 😂😭.
