Fan in baby’s room?

We have an extra ceiling fan and can’t decide if we should put it in baby’s room for the future or put it in our guest room. It seems to me that the baby’s room stays a tad bit warmer than most of the other rooms (the attic access is in his closet). Is it bad to have a fan on in his room? I just worry about it being hot in there, but didn’t know if I would give him a sore throat

I think I've heard that a fan helps lower the risk of SIDS because it keeps the air flowing. We will have the baby in our room the first few months and I don't plan to stop using our ceiling fan.

When my son was a baby he had a ceiling fan. It worked well for us because I didn't have to worry about it being too warm and also I feel like the noise helped him sleep better.

I’d put the fan in. It helps reduce sids due to the air circulation. Also- it helps keep the baby’s room cool. I wish my sons room had a ceiling fan 😩

We have a ceiling fan in every bedroom in our house. During the summer the fans are on. Even if you don't want them on you can shut it off and just use the light part. If later you decide the guest room needs a ceiling fan, they aren't expensive.

I've had fans in all three of my babies' rooms! I don't see any harm in it.
