Pain meds before insertion?

Going tomorrow to get the Jaydess IUD.  4 weeks pp. I still have prescription pain meds from my c-section left so was thinking of taking them prior to insertion.

I have used an IUD since I was 23. The first time I had never had kids it was awful. Inhave had 2 others after the birth of my girls and felt literally nothing. If your cervix has dilated you should be fine no need for pain meds.

Take it just in case. It didnt do anything for me. I had to have my cervix dilated cuz I'm small and never had kids so ibuprofen didnt do shit for me. I had cramps down my ass, vagina and legs. Worth a try to see if it works

Definitely don’t need them. I took ibuprofen before mine and I was fine. It wasn’t nearly as bad as everyone made it sound.
