For my first baby I got one that was car seat, stroller and carrier. It was amazing. He lived in that thing lol

Baby needs to lie flat for around 6 months (unless in a capsule that goes in the car)

The stroller we’re getting comes with an optional bassinet for $100 but it’ll prob get used for 2 months. Still undecided if it’s worth it.

Never used my travel system with last baby. Invest in good baby wear because that's the most convenient.
