I'm a senior in HS getting ready to apply to colleges my family has this idea that I'm gonna go to the exact same school as them (all the way back to my great grandparents) but I want to go to Seattle where my bf lives (we have a ldr) and bc I've always wanted to go there and it would be something new and different. However, idk how to explain to my family my reasoning for wanting to go there, especially bc they don't know abt my bf and id like to keep it that way bc they wouldnt even listen abt him and would cut off my communication with him (due to past issues that they won't let go). Do you guys have any suggestions?!? Thank you!
