Any ladies taking Metformin and don’t have pcos or diabetes?

I was prescribed 1000mg a day but the pharmacist recommended I build myself up to 1000 to lessen the side effects so the first 3 days I did 250mg at night and since then (today being the 4th day) I’ve been taken 250 in the morn and 250 at night and have had no real side effects.

Should I try upping to 750 already with the 500 at night or still wait it out before upping it again?

Also were there any signs you had (maybe with bbt) that Metformin was working and regulating you (my temp charts are all over the place and no where close to biphasic)

I have amenorrhea and anovulation
