This is a picture at 16 weeks and I clearly see the babies left hand. I also took a generic test to see if the baby was ok. Came back with high alpha fetal proteins and they sent me for a level 2 ultrasound at 17 weeks.

The level 2 ultrasound states that everything is fine but the baby is showing no left hand and that is why the AFP was high. Then sent a “typo” to my OB saying right hand missing. I’m confused and wish I would have remembered at the appointment that the ultrasound above showed a left hand. Can the blood work be reading high when the hand is there and then be gone in a weeks time? I’m so torn and waiting to hear back from my doctor on what to do.
