Did you get more emotional before labor?

I am 38 weeks and today I have been so emotional, which isn't like me at all. I'm not a cryer and not super affectionate but today anything is making me tear up.  I feel so sentimental about things.  I haven't been like this at all during the whole pregnancy so it's a dramatic turn.  Could this be a sign labor is near or is it just hormones?

I have been super emotional since I wntered third tri. My husband is like I’m afraid to make cry idk what to do lol

I think it's more of the hormones than a precursor to labor. Especially it's so close to your impeding labor whether it be tomorrow or two weeks from now. I was a mess for the last month of my pregnancy. You are right at the finish line, love, good luck!!
