Transverse baby

Jen

Hi ladies- I need some advice! I went for an ultrasound today (36 weeks, 4 days) because they’ve been monitoring baby’s growth. Good news is growth looks good 😊 Not so good news is that baby has still not moved head down and is transverse (sideways). My dr is going to call me tomorrow to discuss turning options vs scheduling a c-section. I’m terrified of both. I know there are natural ways to try to turn baby but would the dr schedule another ultrasound to check if any of those worked or would they just check before they did the planned c-section? And if I were to schedule a c-section for 39 weeks but went into labor before that, they would need to do an emergency c-section if baby was still transverse, right? Anyone have a transverse/breech baby? What did you do?
