My daughter Esmè -Annette was born this morning at 4.36am at 38 weeks and 5 days gestation after a stretch and sweep. Labour was a little difficult as she was in a posterior position so ‘back to back’ and it was very painful. Unfortunately, due to a drop in her heart rate and high BP I wasn’t able to get the home birth I had planned and wished for but she’s here safe and sound which is all that matters to me.

All 8lb 3ozs of her are perfect in every way and I am so in love with her tiny little toes 😍❤️
