Round ligament pain?

Hi folks — I understand the round ligament pain typically comes at the beginning of the second trimester, but I’m wonder if anyone has experienced it earlier with twin pregnancies? I’m 9 weeks and have experienced some lower abdominal discomfort today that sounds like it could be RLP. Thoughts?

Oh my, yes I am pregnant with twins and I had a lot of round ligament pain before the second trimester. I wondered the same thing- is this really RLP? Yes I’m sure it was now, and then I didn’t have as much the 2nd trimester. When I would stand up it would feel like I was stretching a really right muscle by my ovaries on each side or one side, it hurt. Happened a lot, I would stand up really slowly.

It happened to me at four weeks. I didn’t know I was pregnant but when I felt that it made me take a test because I knew exactly what it was.

I had it pretty intense at 5, 6 weeks onwards. 2nd trimester, I've had very limited round ligament pain.

I’m currently 8w2d with twins and I’ve had this happen in and off for the last two weeks. Sometimes when I’m stretching, coughing/sneezing, or stand up too fast. It hurts something fierce and is usually only on one side of the other but doesn’t last very long....thank god! I’m assuming it’s RLP. I haven’t had any bleeding or any other abnormal symptoms.
