Any freebirth/unassisted childbirthers in here?

Was wondering if there are any women in here who had or are having unassisted childbirth in this group or is is this a primarily midwife assisted homebirth group?

Both of my daughters were unassisted, with my oldest it was just myself an hubby in our bed room when we had her, my midwife an mum stood close to the door incase i needed them and my second was born in the car!! So that was all me haha i actually dont know how i would handle someone trying to help me birth now x

It’s something I’d consider if I didn’t totally love my midwives, OR if I were having twins. I had a completely uncomplicated home birth for my daughter that my midwives were there for but basically they didn’t do anything 😂 but they don’t deliver twins at home, they’d do it at the hospital, and I really pretty much refuse to go to a hospital unless I need a c section so I might do a free birth for that. But if it’s a single (I’m also due in May) I’ll just use my midwives cause I like them 😊

My first I had in the hospital with a midwife, second was homebirth with midwife, third will be unassisted sometime in Feb-March when baby comes! So far I’ve had an unassisted pregnancy as well. Only prenatal work I’m doing via provider and not myself is a confirmation test with local midwives so that I can get our birth certificate without too much hassle. I’m also a doula and support many freebirth mamas, it’s not as uncommon as many would think!

i am certainly considering it dor my next birth because i was VERY VERY displeased with my midwives at my first and only so far birth (an unmedicated hombirth). after baby was born they shipped him off to the hospital against my will. i didnt get to feed him and didnt get delayed cord clamping. they snapped my cord and off he went, i barely got to even see him
with my own eyes for a minute, a literal minute. so off i went, having to get dressed and go to the hospital after just pushing my first
baby out at home unmedicated. i was very infuriated that after putting all my effort into pull through birthing at home very naturally that me and baby got sent to the hospital and subjected to everything under the sun.... (my baby was completely healthy, mind you)
so for me the unassisted route sounds best because one of the main things i wanted from hime birth was to be HOME! to birth my baby then lay in the bed and not have to worry about going anywhere because i woukd already be there... 
if i were choosing midwives id deffinately talk to them about what they will do against ur will

I would totally consider an unassisted birth, but hubby isn’t comfortable with it. I’m just going to wait until the LAST possible moment to call my midwife 😜

I had 3 unassisted home births. The first two cause they were so fast the midwife missed them and the third cause I really liked it just being just me and my husband! My midwife was in my living room during my last birth. Pregnant again and will plan unassisted with midwife for just in case and afterwards

I had a medwife at my first birth and it was quote traumatic. My second baby was UC with jist my husband and myself at home and my daughter asleep in her room. My parents came once baby was born and helped clean and feed us and occupy my older child. It was the most amazing experience.

My first was almost unassisted accidentally. My midwife came for the last 20 minutes of my labor because no one believed when I said I thought baby would come fast. She didn't really tell me what to do because I was already in the thick of it when she got there, just helped me with what positions to be in when my arms got tired and caught baby boy when he came out.
