Take my toddler?

Question

My first midwife appointment is in about a month.
My husband can not attend and I have a 2 year old.
It's acceptable to bring her with me right? 
It will only be her and myself.

My daughter has been with me for every single appointment and it’s never been an issue. I guess it depends more so on your child and if they’re able to sit still and be quiet in an office setting. I bring snacks and my iPad for her to watch nursery rhymes. 
She was 15 months old when I got pregnant and had been coming to every appointment. She’s now 19 months old.

I always took my toddler, never had any problems. A few books, a snack and water and we were good.

I'm 38 weeks and I bring my daughter to my appointments every time. My son has come along too on occasion when hes not in school. My midwives are very kid friendly. I dont think they would penalize you for bringing your child.

I had to bring my toddler to my last appointment With the ob. It wasn’t ideal, my daughter screamed when the Doctor touched me. But they didn’t tell me not to bring her back...

I have a 22 month old & a 8 year old. My SO works weekdays, so when I have appts my little one comes with me. My doctor has a rule where the babies have to be in a car seat or stroller to go in the back. My daughter is pretty well behaved. Usually, I pack snacks and my iPad, with her favorite cartoons downloaded, to keep her occupied during my visits. Out of all my appts, she’s only had 1 meltdown lol.

I bring my 14 month old to my appointments. Just me and her. they never say anything to me about it.

Mine freaked totally out when I had blood drawn. Needles don’t bother me at all so I wasn’t upset, but she lost it.

I would call and ask some places will not let you bring a child.

Should be fine. I've taken my almost two year old with me. I just put him in his stroller and bring a backpack with quiet toys. I also make sure he has a snack before. He has been good so far.
