Hamster help! 🐹

I’ll try to keep this as short as possible...

I recently (2 days ago) adopted a Syrian hamster (I drove 9 hours total for this hamster lol SO SHE BETTER LOVE ME). She was abandoned in an apartment for weeks without anything but a little food and water. So I assume her previous owners never really held her- they don’t seem to care for her. However, she is really scared and has really bad anxiety. I do own other small animals like guinea pigs and rats, and one guinea pig specifically deals with horrible anxiety. I have the experience to tame this little hamster, but new tips would be much appreciated. 😓 I feel so bad for my new addition to my critter family! Also, I know for cats they have calming spray. Do you think it would work for a hamster/rat or guinea pig? I know hamsters and gerbils are sensitive to smells, so maybe a cat relaxer plug in would work ? Like Feliway???
