Would you allow your 16 year old child to smoke marijuana?

I know alot of parents who let thier children smoke weed because realistically marijuana can't harm you, depending on the person it takes off alot of stress, calms anxiety and study shows; weed can moderate depression because it makes you relaxed. 
But what are your thoughts on the situation?

Working in a hospital ive seen that marijuana can have a negative impact on the body. Personally I wouldn’t let my kid smoke but I don’t have kids nor do i want them. Marijuana makes me want to vomit and makes me irritated anytime im around it

Okay let me be real. Marijuana has many health benefits. Exactly like the ones you’re mentioning. Although smoke is never good for young growing,  minds it doesn’t even come close to the damage tobacco or even excessive uses of alcohol can do do young people especially. It overall has many many health benefits. It’s completely your decision, if you decide to let them, maybe make sure they’re with you just in case they have a negative reaction to it (which is rare but important to keep in mind) as everyone reacts differently to different drugs, as they would with any drug (Panadol, advil etc).  
I was reading the other comments and no, it doesn’t make your child dumb, that’s in no way right at all. But it’s completely up to you, be safe with it and make sure if you’re buying that it’s not spun with tobacco or mixed with another drug. Also, if you’re using it for mental health reason, don’t let it be the only fixer. It’s only a part time “solution”, you can’t be dependent on it.
