My husband and I got married this past July after almost eight years of dating. It was the happiest I’ve been in my entire life. We went on a cruise for our honeymoon and it was fantastic! :)

We found out last month that we’re expecting our first, due in late March!! Turns out our wedding night was a whole lot more fun than we anticipated haha! We have yet to tell either of our parents because we are not really ready for kids but I know this is a blessing from above. I have PCOS and I was told it would take some planning and hard work for me to conceive. So we are both taking this as a blessing, but I’m extremely nervous to tell my family. We’re both adults (I’m 27 - and he’ll soon be 40) but I’m the firstborn and I’m just nervous.

Any advice or ideas on how to tell my parents they’re about to be grandparents?

PS his parents are gonna be thrilled. They asked for grandchildren when we told them we were getting married. Lol
