Does anyone else feel like they're ready for the next step in their life but are being held back by forces you can't control?

Oh yes. 
I'm 25 and would love to get an apartment, but The Lord works in mysterious ways because he got fired from his job and 3 days later my mom ended up in the hospital for 20 pounds of fluid around her heart. 
my husband ended up being the one taking care of my grandmother who is diabetic, a breast cancer surviver, an amputee (of half a foot and her leg), and has alzheimer's disease.
We thought my mom would be home in a week, but that turned into 2 1/2 months because she had to get a heart pump and is on the list for a transplant.
Now he takes care of both my mother and grandmother and we are still stuck in my mom's home lol.
Luckily it's 4 bedrooms so it's not too bad, rent is only 300 a month, which is easy for me, and she offered to baby sit for free when I give birth.
I guess I have it easy, but I still want to be free on my own.
