You dont. Mine hurt both af and preggers. But worse and different feeling pregnant to me

You really can’t tell the difference. The only thing I noticed was they continued to hurt and started to hurt more even when I thought my period was due. Usually they stop hurting a couple days before AF. But everyone is different!
