Ugh. I was deteriorating by the day. I couldn’t get out of bed so I drove myself to the ER. I’m so glad I did because I needed to be pumped full of meds to get me better. Nothing I could do to get better. I needed medical treatment ASAP. My nausea and vomiting was relentless. Couldn’t keep anything down x2 days except saltine minis with sips of ginger ale.

I was dx with a bad UTI and severe dehydration. They did a tummy exam to rule out ectopic. Luckily, they got me back quickly, I think because I told them I was 7 weeks pregnant. They pumped me full of fluids and Phenergan rx for the N/V. They observed me for several hours. Everything was ok with baby so no sonogram was needed. They took several viles of blood, everything came back ok. Just severely ill. I was rx’d phenergan and omnicef. Ugh. This pregnancy has been tough so far. First OB appointment next week.
