Should I call my OB or go to the hospital?

For the past week have have been having a lot of tightness in my belly. Nothing to serious until last night when it was so bad I couldn’t sleep and now it’s been constant all day and night. I’m feeling a tingling in my hands as well. Please help this is my first little one and I just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing

Drink water and lie on your left side. You could be having Braxton Hicks contractions. However if you are having regular, timed, consistent abdominal tightening/contractions, or loss of fluid, vaginal bleeding, or decreased fetal movement, you should go to the hospital. 
Loss of feeling or numbness in your hands can be carpal tunnel which happens in some pregnancies, nothing to really do about it. It just kind of happens to some moms.

Drink water and relax see if that helps. My last month of pregnancy I had bad Braxton Hicks. Try and time it too if you can. As long as no fluid is coming out you should be safe to wait till he gets back. If they get really close together or are very painful you should go in. But not by driving yourself. It it’s just tight and mildly uncomfortable it’s probably false labor. I had it for 14 hours once but not consistent contractions and then it stopped. Just deep breaths and fluid:)
