Any ideas...?

So idk if this is a quirky Swiss thing or what,  but I have had two Swiss obgyns tell me to avoid infants during my pregnancy. Can't see any warning like this on the NHS website... Any ideas why the Swiss recommend this???

Likely to do with their weakened immune system. They are likely to have viruses and/or other illnesses best avoided during pregnancy. I'm in the US and have never heard anyone being recommended to stay away from infants though.

Possibly as they are more prone to things like chicken pox that they can pass on?
