How old were your babies when they started sleeping on their stomach?

Usually once they can roll over on their own is a good time to start.
I put my babies to sleep on their stomachs right away, but ONLY when I was awake & watching them. NOT for nighttime/when I was busy.

Do not put baby on their belly to sleep until they can roll over themselves! This is a major increase for SIDS

Mine started to go on his belly around 7 months I say? I always put him on his back but he gets right to his belly

Both of mine could roll themselves over around 3/4 months so that’s how they’ve slept ever since

Always put baby to sleep on their back due to SIDS (up until age one).  But if they start rolling over then you can leave then that way. I can’t remember when my baby started regularly doing that on her own and enjoying sleeping like that. Maybe 7 months?

My 4 month old daughter has rolled onto her belly a couple times in her sleep but always wakes up crying when she does.

My son started sleeping on his side at 2-3 weeks because he would turn himself there. Then at 5 months he started deciding he wanted to sleep on his belly. I tried to fight it, but he would always end up there. Pediatrician said it was safe because he could completely turn himself around.

As soon as my baby rolled over, he wanted to sleep on his stomach. He would cry and cry if he couldn’t make it all the way. He was 4 months. I was terrified!
