I know this is anon so it will be pulled soon, but my family keeps debating this and I really don't know what to do.

My little sister is 15 and she's going into 10th grade. She loved her school and her friends and her sports teams, and my parents decided to move her to England for the year for new experiences. She really misses home and feels like her new school in England will put her behind academically because they don't learn the same material, and she's also struggling to make new friends. This is definitely not abuse, but I can't help feeling sorry for her that my parents took her out of her high school and made her restart her life all over and miss out on what her friends are doing and her activities and her academics. What do you think?
