Terrified of another c-section

I’m just wondering if anyone had an emergency/unplanned c-section then a planned c-section. Was the recovery easier? Did you feel like the scar healed okay? How long did you wait between each pregnancy? I only want two children and I want them to be close in age. (In an ideal world)

I’m not pregnant but I know that I would like to start trying after my sons first birthday. I had to have an unplanned c-section because he wasn’t wanting to come out after 2 hours of pushing and 22 hours of labor. I found out after my c-section that I shouldn’t of even tried to deliver vaginally. My c-section was horrible. The recovery was rough. My baby was engaged in my pelvis and I remember the surgeon tugging so hard trying to get him out and at one point he was even on the bed pulling. I felt like a rag doll. I have nightmares about it. It felt like forever in there but my husband said it was only a few minutes. My son is fine and that’s what matters to me. He was 9lb 1 oz and I was only 110 pounds pre pregnancy so no one expected me to have a big baby. I knew I was going to though. I was huge! I just wonder if my next child will be as big and if they will let me go over 40 weeks again?
