Coming from a household with parents with a very unstable relationship, that shit takes a toll on you as the child.
I would never intentionally have a child with someone I have an unstable relationship with.

Bringing a baby into an unstable relationship is an incredibly selfish thing for someone to do.  So many people think that a child will change their relationship for the better,  when it usually does the opposite for those in a bad relationship.  A child isn't a pawn to be used for personal gain/ leverage in a relationship.  There are so many babies and children in foster care due to irresponsible parents, there's no need to add more.

A baby won’t fix anything. You’re just being extremely selfish and hurting the child in the long run. When I got pregnant my so started out with his friends constantly instead of spending time with me and preparing for our child. I was hoping it would change once our son was here and a year later it still hasn’t. I know I or my son doesn’t deserve this. And I know I will end up leaving I’m to that point that I’m over it.

No because you have to be thinking about that child, not just yourself. Will the baby be in a stable home? Babies don't need much but they do need that.

.. I'd wait to see if things improve or break up... a baby is very hard on a relationship... so if things are rough before baby its damn fucking hard with a baby... the lack of sleep and resources makes for a very hard relationship... my sister went through it and didn't know why my relationship was so easy when our son came along... I would wait until it stabilizes... and I wouldnt say most couples fight or argue... my husband and I barely ever argue.. we talk things out but hardly argue...

Wanting a baby and having a stable relationship are two different things. You can still want a baby and not even be in a relationship at all. You can be in any type of relationship and still want a baby. The desire to have a baby is not contingent upon how your relationship is going. Even if your relationship is unstable, that desire to have a baby will still be there. That doesn’t mean you should have one.
