My husband is French. I’m Russian. We love these 2 names. Rémy is my favorite, it’s an old school French boy name and I think it sounds so cute. My concern is that it doesn’t age well so we might go with Jeremy as a full name and call him Rémy at home. We also love Léo but my husband has a sister whose middle name is Léa and she goes by Léa here in the US. So whenever I say baby Léo he thinks I’m saying Lea :(

The other option was Mateo and Téo for short but we don’t love it as much even though we are warming up to it and see it as a possibility.
