Timing?

Iv been getting period like pains every 20 minutes for the last hour or more and started timing them, I have tested positive for strep B and wondering how close contractions need to be before I have to go to hospital???

I believe it’s the same as PP said unless your water breaks and then I believe you’re supposed to go in right away. You can always call the hospital to ask :)

My OB gave me the 5-1-1 rule. Contractions 5 minutes apart, lasting 1 minute or more, for atleast and hour. That when to head to the hospital unless your water breaks or there is significant bleeding then head there right away.

My doctor told me when contractions are 3-5 minutes apart I should go to the hospital. I also tested positive for Group Strep B
