Should I cut my hair to my shoulders?

I've been thinking about it but I'm not sure. I love having long hair but some of it is damaged from previous dyes. My husband has said before he thinks i would look really cute with shorter hair. I'm just worried about it becoming too poofy. My hair is already frizzy and in the past when I cut it waves became uncontrollable. But I'm 22 now and my hair has calmed down some recently. Idk. Should I take the risk? I've never cut it shorter than my boobs.

I don’t mean this in an offensive way, and I may be wrong, but I don’t think shoulder length will suit your head shape. I think maybe a little shorter might, or if you add some kind of volume or thickness to your hair maybe, but I’d keep it like bra-strap length of you know what I mean. :)
