Bright red spotting instead of period??

So this month my "period" is basically just spotting that is bright red and I spot then an hr later it's gone? Idk what is going on with me. I've taken like 5 hpt and they are all negative. Has anyone experienced this. What was going on with you. In concerned it could be freak early onset menopause but I'm 25. My mom was in perimenopause at 30. What do yall think???
