What is the best cup to use for heavy flow

Question

I am a virgin with extreme flow. I'm also on a budget. I tried to lily cup compact as my first cup. (Highly not recommended btw 😠) That was a total flop and I had to change it more than I would change a pad. What are ur suggestions? I also did a take a quiz that told me what is the best cup. But I wanted to here y'all opinions.

There are more factors to consider than just flow! I use LENA Large cups with my menorrhagia, but many heavy bleeders enjoy the Super Jennie.

I took the quiz you may be talking about and was directed to the Lena. I have never given birth, but I use the large cup during the first and heaviest days of my flow and then use the smaller one for the last few days. I will say that my flow became lighter with the use of cups, but I would suggest the Lena large.

The Lena large would be a good choice even though you are a virgin my sister is to and she loves this cup ( I have the small and love it ) I have also heard the ruby cup is really good for heavy bleeders it's supposed to hold 3x more than a super size tampon i know there are more I just can't think of what they are called

Lunnette it’s flexible & soft but has a good csize capacity. After using my cup for about a year I get shorter & less heavy periods with less cramping/pain too.

The highest capacity cup i know of is the Super Jennie, HOWEVER, the lily cup compact is tiny and doesnt hold much blood at all in comparison to any other cup. The super jennie is massive in comparison and might be a big leap, as the compact cup wont be a good cup to indicate how heavy your flow is. May i ask how often you emptied this cup?
Also i always like to recommend the LENA cup. I have the large lena cup, and just recieved a large sensitive model of it. I have menorrhagia (very heavy periods) and this cup has been working well for me so far. I empty it every 4-6 hours depending on the day, although most people can wait much longer, and many wait the full 12 and its not filled.

My first cup was the aiwo cup, it is firm so its easy to insert and it has a valve so you can empty it without removing it ( you should still wash it twice a day) I loved it but the only drawback is the valve is quite long and hung outside of me, its easy enough to tuck it behind my pubic bone but my flow isn't so heavy that I need the valve. There are other cups out there with a valve. And keep in mind that because you are a virgin you should start with a smaller size but it might turn out that a larger cup fits better everyone is different. Also keep in mind if you have a high, low, or medium cervix.
