He texted me on instagram thinking I was someone else meeting him to buy some weed and from there we kept talking and after 7 months finally went on a date n now three years later we have 1 year old twin daughters

Lol we met way back when MeetMe was MyYearbook. I think he looked at my profile but never said anything, so when I looked at his, all I did was comment under a basic post that said “I hate Monday’s” and I said “Well, it says the nicest things about you” and that was all it took for him to be really interested in a date 😂 that was nearly 8 years ago. I had to turn him down for an actual date, because I was only on there for platonic friends (I was in a struggling marriage). He still wanted to be friends though, ended up easily being my closest friend even though we were never on the same side of the country the whole time, and I didn’t end up getting divorced for another 6 years. Even when I separated, and he expressed interest, I told him I needed a year, but it was full steam ahead after that year was up. We moved in together, and 3 years later, we’re having our first baby together 😍

We met at a party when we were 13. It was July 18, 2008. I remember because I wrote about him in my little middle school diary lol. That week sucked because my best friend went off on me telling me all the things she didn’t like about me, and saying she didn’t want to be friends anymore. I cried the whole week. Another one of my friends had invited me to a party. I remember thinking that the week was so crappy that I didn’t even feel like going, but my mom told me she thought it would be good for me. So, I went and I’m sitting on the trampoline and in walks this tall, skinny dude with a buzz cut and I’m just like “who’s that?” He came over to me and introduced himself and the rest is history lol.
