Hospital bag?

What sort of bag do you pack for the hospital? Duffel bag for self/husband and diaper bag with baby’s things? I always see posts on hospital bag items, but never on the BAG itself! Don’t know what I should be packing everything in.

I did a duffle bag with my first, this time I will just use he same small suitcase I always use for short trips, I find everything more accessible that way.  
I won't bother with a separate bag for baby, the hospital supplies diapers and wipes and I will be breastfeeding, so I will just pack a couple outfits and maybe a blanket for baby right in my suitcase.

This is what the hospital gave me, with my first they did not supply me with anything other than a baby receiving blanket, tylenol and meals. Remember most cases your usually only in the hospital for 24 hours. Two things that is not on this list that I recommend is hair ties and instead of pads o suggest adult diapers as their way comfier and more absorbent.

We packed a diaper bag for baby and than just like an over night bag for me and my SOs things. I wore hospital clothes the while time untill we left.

I’m planning to get something like this as my hospital bag. I think I’ll pack baby boys things in here as well, unless I feel the need to have the diaper bag.

I took a duffle bag for me and baby. You really don’t need your diaper bag for the hospital. They provide all the diapers/wipes, etc. the only thing I needed for baby was a coming home outfit.

I’m just packing a medium sized overnight bag this time. Packing comfy pajamas, going home outfit for me, flip flops for the shower and a small toiletries bag. 2 outfits for the baby as going home outfits, and just an outfit for my husband the first night (he’ll be able to go home from the hospital if he needs anything)

I packed separate bags for me and baby, and my husband just went home when needed. We lived less than a mile from the hospital at the time! 
I think I’ll follow others and go with a suitcase this time! Clothes for me and baby, breastfeeding supplies, soap/shampoo, and toiletries. Probably a change of clothes for my husband just in case he needs it. 😊
