Depends on how you adopt. Agencies can be $20,000-$50,000. Private can be as cheap as lawyer fees and $2,000 depending on the state. 
If you haven’t put yourself on the Safe Haven list at a hospital yet, I would! My sister adopted her little boy at 3 days old for just the paper filing fee. 
Adoption is a crazy money making institution... I don’t know why it’s not more affordable to keep children out of foster care.
