Ultrasound scheduled?

When would you schedule your first ultrasound? I’m 5 week today. 
Last pregnancy ended in a miscarriage of a blighted ovum and I got 3 ultrasounds starting at 4 weeks, never seeing anything but the sac. Kinda traumatized by it. 
So when would you suggest scheduling one this time? Should be visible by next week.

My doctor does an ultrasound at the first appt which is set for 8-10 weeks. Mine is at 8+2. They didn’t really give me a choice to come in sooner, but idk if I would want to. A lot of the time they won’t see anything that early and at 8w the heartbeat should be clear and at the right pace.
With my first, I didn’t have an ultrasound until 20 weeks. That was standard at that doctor 🤷🏻‍♀️

My first appointment is October 2nd. They will be doing a sonogram as well as my last pregnancy ended in a misscarriage at 8 weeks.

When I called my OB they told me when they wanted to see me. I didn’t have a choice. I imagine if anyone has had complications or several losses some clinics have you come in sooner. 
I am 5+6 today, will be 6 weeks tomorrow. My first visit is set for Friday. They wanted me in on Tuesday, my 7 week mark however I will be on vacation!

Same thing happened to me! I’m getting an ultrasound this Friday according to my lmp I should be exactly 7 weeks as soon as he saw my hcg leveled go up he ordered an ultrasound I guess to make sure it’s not a blighted ovum again

I’m 6+2 right now. I called my new doctor today. They said they wanted to see me a little closer to 10 weeks. I go in on the 3rd of October. They said they usually like to hear the heartbeat at the first appointment so that’s why they wait. They didn’t really give me a choice about it either. But I figure they know what they are doing anyways lol It still feels like a dream that I’m pregnant so I’m excited to go to the first appointment and actually hear a heartbeat 💕
