If you do the genetic testing at 12 weeks do you automatically know the gender?

If they do will they just flat out tell us or will it be in the paperwork?

It's depends on which testing you have done. Only NIPT can test for gender and it's usually not the first line of genetic testing, it's usually a secondary test if other tests come back with concerning results. If you do have NIPT done, your results will come back in a week or so and your doctor will let you know.

It depends on who your Dr. Goes through for the test. My Dr. calls with the results so we had the option of finding out the gender at that time. I know some others got their results emailed/mailed to them directly so the gender results were included on those.
