Can you have sex before trigger?

Tonight will be Day 5 of my follistim injections. Just curious- can you have sex during these days leading up to when the doctor says to trigger? Or do you have to abstain completely while doing injections?

I was sexually actively during my injections. You don’t want to go for long periods without sex. A buildup of bad sperm. We abstained 48 hours before the IUI which worked perfect.

Absolutely have sex during your days of injections/“your fertile window”!! Have sex at least every other day during this time. Then once you do the trigger, you have to abstain until the IUI so that the sperm counts are high enough to be effective.
