The liletta iud

So I got the liletta put in 8/16 of this year. It only has progesterone in it. I had my regular cycle shortly afterwards (I guess they want you to be on your period when they put it in because your cervix is looser so it doesn’t hurt as bad getting it into your uterus, but I hadn’t started mine yet.) anyways, period is normal, I get excruciating cramps with every period, which is why I finally decided to get back on BC to see if I could get it to stop completely or at least get rid of the severe cramping. So two days after the insertion I start my period and it’s my normal 7-9 day cycle, but then I’ve just been spotting ever since. Sooo, for almost a MONTH I’ve been spotting everyday, some times I get hit randomly with awful cramps but they seem to go away fairly quickly, and some days I don’t even remember I’m spotting till I go to the bathroom. And I know it usually takes anywhere from three to six months to start having normal cycles or whatever. But I just wanted to know if anyone else out there has this iud (liletta) I believe it’s 52mg of progesterone? What did you experience while on it? And when did it seem like your cycle finally went back to normal or just stop completely? I just wanna know there could be a light at the end of the tunnel. The one I have lasts for three years.
