should i get the iud? help me list pros and cons

i’ve been on the pill for a while now. but i keep forgetting to take it or am taking it at really random times. 
i am think about getting the iud but i wanna know the pros and cons to getting it. keep in mind i have never had a kid nor have i been pregnant. 
please help me list out the pros and cons

I had my iud at 18. Insertion was painful but my experience was very uncommon. I didn’t bleed until two months later and then I spotted for 52 days. Haven’t had a period since. I have no side effects on it. I love it so much and will continue to get them

Pros. Easy. Super effective, more than most other methods. Lasts a long time so is cost effective also. No periods for me, with mirena. No side effects.
Cons. My first period with it I had contractions. 
Overall so worth it. The most I have for a period is a tiny bit of spotting. I haven't used a pad or tampon since I got my IUD back in May.

Pros: no daily pill, no pharmacy, no monthly payment, no taking it with me overnight or on vacay, dont need to worry about meds interacting, dont need to worry about vomiting or diarrhea, made my periods lighter, 5 years of protection- I only had to pay $9 for it.
Cons: insertion sucked but only lasted 10 mins, bad cramps for 2 weeks, first two periods on it were long. 
I think the pros outweigh the cons. I have mirena. This is my third month on it. Cant feel it during sex but I do check the strings.
