Dentist fear?

Do any of you have fear to go to the dentist? I have so much fear of it seriously & on top of that I already have anxiety. The last time I went it was for a cleaning & I couldn’t even finish, I only got half way & got a panic attack. I have my appointment tomorrow & I’m scared :( lol but I REALLY need it.

Yes & I have just cause because of the trauma I’ve suffered during dentist appointments. 
I had a dentist appointment yesterday actually & it was the first time I’d been to this specific dentist. It was for a checkup-clean & re-bond my lower retainer wire. I was so highly strung and anxious due to being on meds that cause anxiety & insomnia recovering from an allergic reaction so I was upfront about it with them. The new patient form also asked if dental appointments make you nervous & a scale (I put moderately). Just be clear with them. Most dentists are aware it can be overwhelming & try to practice in a way that helps patients stay calm & even overcome their fears. My Dentist was super understanding, kept checking in with me & keeping a dialogue going about my comfort to proceed/wait etc. & what he was about to do next. It’s important you have good communicate with your Dentist so they can adapt their methods/approach to suit you. Mostly, just try to relax & breath because a lot of panic/anxiety can reduced just by controlling your breathing and focusing on staying as calm as possible.

Nah. The lest time i was there the dentist had to pull my tooth out. But it broke in pieces. And afterwards my whole face was covered with timy blood specks lol. I am studying to decome a dental assistent this kinda stuff doesnt bother me.

Ask if they can give you something for the anxiety. I was so afraid of the dentist that they offered me some of the laughing gas. I refused but ai did really think hard on it lol
