Embarrassing period story!! Bled in front of whole class!

So I was in the middle of English class, and the teacher asked a question so I raised my hand.

Great right? What could go wrong with raising your hand? Well I’m the school for some reason you have to stand up and give your answer...

I’m sitting at the front of the class with pretty much every male behind me...

So I stand up and proudly give my answer (which happened to be correct :3) and I hear a few held back giggles when suddenly I feel a tap on my shoulder...

I turn around to see my best friend (male)

With a kind of sympathetic face... “You um... You probably just go to the bathroom or call your mum...”

BAM! In that moment I’m almost certain my face turned red with embarrassment.

He took off his hoodie and tied it around my waste and I just asked the teacher politely if I could go to the bathroom (male teacher) and he kind of just stares at the floor and says yes.

The next day at school my best friend (male) greeted me at the front of the building with a backpack full of my favorite chocolates and gummy bears.

Horribly embarrassing but at least I have THE best friend in the world.
