Went in for second scan today at what I thought was 6 wks and 6 days. Embryo measured 5 wks and 5 days with a heartbeat of 110. Baby has developed appropriately from last week (only a yolk sac and fetal pole then), but the gestational sac has continued to become more irregular. I guess the edges aren't crisp and well-defined like they'd like to see. OB told me they can't really tell me what will happen one way or another but that this could be indicative of a nonviable pregnancy. Anyone experienced this? What was the outcome?
