Went for our very first ultrasound today, thinking I was on the early side of 13 weeks. (23 weeks, 3 days based on the first day of my last period.) We were hoping to do the Nuchal for genetic screening... sprout surprised us by measuring 14 weeks 3 days. So that meant I was too far along for the Nuchal screening.

Surprised to say the least, but was hoping to put our minds at ease knowing baby is healthy before we make the news public.

Does anyone know of other genetic screenings that can be done in the second trimester? Feeling excited but still needing that peace of mind...
