Yes totally safe, I’d say unless you’re high risk. I’ve been picking up my 2 year old this entire pregnancy and he is HUGE lol. He weighs 35 pounds and his 4 year old brother weighs 38. I pick them both up (not at the same time) I’ve had no issues.

Yes. It's safe. Baby is protected even if bumped. I pick up my almost 3 year old quite a bit and she runs to me for hugs and bumps my belly daily. I remind her to be gentle but you know, they forget/don't understand. it's fine
