Question, I’m just a birth photographer at a hospital and my boss and I were talking and she really wants me to find a job where I’ll have insurance and maternity leave... so just out of curiosity when applying do you tell the person you interview with that you’re pregnant? I don’t want to do something wrong. I’m only 8 weeks so I’m not showing yet. Advice???

Don’t tell them your pregnant. It’s illegal for them to ask and not necessary for them to know

Don’t tell them because pregnancy discrimination is very real.  Even if you were obviously pregnant, they would be able to ask. But just to let you know (if you’re in the US), fmla isn’t guaranteed until you’ve worked somewhere for a year.
