Am I overreacting???

Question

Basically on Monday night I had an accident and I tore the ligaments in my ankle, so I’ve been to the hospital etc,I’m on crutches and currently off work.
My boyfriend has shown me 0 support he’s not offered to help or even come and see me I’ve literally begged him to come see me for the last 2 days nothing! 
I understand he’s got his business to run etc but he’s finished most day at 3/4pm and his business is a 10 min drive from my house, I genuinely feel like he doesn’t care. Like last month I’d found a lump in my breast and I’ve lost my dad and sister to cancer and his reaction was when I told him “you’ll be fine stop stressing! 
Am I overreacting here or does he genuinely just not give a f**k about me? 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

You’re not overreacting at all. It was completely insensitive of him to say that to you when you were worried about finding a lump in your breast, he should have acknowledged your fear and comforted you. 
As for not coming to see you while you were in the hospital and hurt, that would upset me too. I’d feel like I wasn’t a priority to him at all, especially since you made it clear you wanted to see him. Even if it was only two days, if that was my boyfriend I’d find time to go see him if he was hurt. 
I’m sorry all of this is happening to you, and I hope everything turns out okay.

While it does suck that he hasn’t come to see you, it’s only been 2 days. I assume he has a life as well and while you may be out of work, he’s not. If he really is running a business, he may just want to go home and relax after work and who could blame him? Again, it’s only been 2 days. 
Also, as far as him telling you you’ll be fine and to stop stressing, what did you want him to say? “Oh yeah babe you have cancer lets shit ourselves and freak out even though we have no idea if you actually do or not! Lets just think worse case scenario and live in fear until we find out!”? While it is scary and cancer is nothing to be nonchalant about, I think he was just trying to keep you calm so you didn’t jump to extreme conclusions and freak yourself out so quickly. I’d say yeah, you are overreacting quite a bit 🤷🏻‍♀️

If he cared then he would come around. I can imagine it is hard for you to move around at the moment. He should be there helping you.

I think you're overreacting but you're not. He's right about the lump, there's nothing to worry about until there's something to worry about. So just be responsible and go get checked out and don't stress until there's a reason to stress. And he should at least pop by and put an effort to see how you're doing. You're not living together or married so he can't really be there to help you and take care of you, unless he were to offer something like that. But he could at least see how you're doing to show he cares.
