Hi, so I’m on Birth Control, I take the pill. I do take it everyday, however, not at the same time ever. Either in the morning, or anytime between 8pm-4am. If my boyfriend finished in me, what would my chances of being pregnant be?

theres already a chance even when on the pill but the fact that you dont take it right definitely increases the chance by a lot. there is no way to know by how much though. I strongly suggest you pick a different method of birth control that you will take correctly.

Umm yea, 8pm-4am is a big time gap, especially in regards to taking birth control pills. With combination pills, that’s considered typical use, which initially has a 91%-92% effectiveness rate. But, that can vary & be even lower if ur frequently falling under the typical use category/rate. With perfect use, which is +/-2 hours within the same time everyday, they’re 99.7% effective. Therefore, ur definitely increasing ur chances of pregnancy by not being as consistent with ur timing as u should be. So, either start being more consistent or get on a different, less time sensitive method of birth control asap!
