Can you overfeed? 😕

My little one is just shy of 4 weeks and he seems to have a ridiculous appetite lately. He was eating 2-3 ounces at each feeding but today he has been so fussy and after trying everything else I tried giving him more and he seems content. Can I overfeed him though? From 5-8pm he's had like 7 ounces... I'm a first time mom and could really use some insight.

Growth spurt, try stopping every half oz to burp to give it time to get to his stomach. They’ll do this for 1-2 weeks then go back to normal feedings. Google pace feeding, that’ll help

My babies pediatrician said babies cannot over eat. Babies do go through growth spurts (by baby went through one at 2 weeks and he is now 1 month old so I'm sure another is coming) at 2 weeks he was having 6oz in 1 setting...baby is just growing:) no need to worry Mama! You're doing the right thing! P.s. I have heard that babies go through growth spurts every 7-10 days. My baby went through a BIG one at 2 weeks old and again (smaller this time) at 3-3.5 weeks

My baby girl is 10 weeks and she eats 6 oz ever 3 hours and her pediatrician is the one to told me to give her that much because she has been going through hysterics at just a 4oz feeding. He says youre not overfeeding unless baby throws up a higher then normal volume of spit up and formula/milk.

No you’re not overfeeding babies have tiny stomach and if they are hungry just feed them might be having a growth spurt.

My son was eating 4 ounces at 4 weeks let the baby eat when he wants. The worst he will do is puke some up.
