Do you co sleep?

Question

Does anyone else co sleep (sleep in same bed) with their newborn? I really don’t want to because of the risks but sometimes it’s the ONLY way my boy will stop crying and go to sleep! 😩

I never did this. Only because I won’t be able to get proper rest, I’ll jump up every 5mins worrying about the newborn and if I squashed him or not. I sleep wild. I kept a small bassinet beside the bed.

I did! Since my son was about 2-3 months old.  My body got used to sleeping lightly.  I never understood the big deal about having kids sleep in your bed (besides SIDS or accidentally rolling over) I hate when people tell me “he’ll never get out of your bed now.”  Yes he will.  I believe children grow out of everything.  I believe one day he will tell me he’s a big boy and leave my bed.  Plus I always say what’s five or six years compared to all the years you won’t get cuddles?

She sleeps in my bed once my husband goes to work in the morning and takes his place. She stays arms length away from me and she holds my finger while we sleep. I don’t trust my husbands sleep habits to sleep the whole night with her in our bed

My boy has been sleeping with us since he was 2 weeks old . It’s easier for me and him while breastfeeding. He sleeps near me and away from my boyfriend because he’s a wild and hard sleeper. My baby likes to feel safe and he won’t sleep well when he’s away from someone . He has a bassinet and will sleep in that too

My daughter likes to fall asleep in my arms. So I wait until she is asleep and then put her in her co-sleeper that attaches to my bed but gives her safe sleeping space.

I did and ended up buying an in bed co sleeper so I stopped worrying about him being right in the bed

We put our girl on a changing pad in between us. Best decision ever.

We did for about the first 12 weeks. Then moved her into the bassinet when she seemed more content to be alone. I know its not recommended, but its the only way any of us got any sleep.
