How long did it take your arm to heal from nexplanon?

Got mine monday and just wondering when it will start to heal up. Its been painful to put on my side of sleep on.

It took a week to a week and a half for me to really be able to do everything I could before. There's a lot of physical work involved at my job so I had a good sense of what I could/couldn't do. I also had minimal bruising, though. If you have a lot of bruising that could cause it to be sore longer.

The first time I got it (I’m on my second implant now), it took 2 weeks for the pain to completely go away. But, it gradually lessened over that time. Actually, I’d say about 80% of the pain went away after the first couple days. However, it’s different for everyone, and I personally didn’t lay on that arm for a couple weeks. That said, if u use that arm a lot within the first couple weeks, and/or there’s ever pressure against the area, then that can sometimes cause discomfort and/or pain. So, just be cautious about that.
